Wonderful stitch for adding some texture to your trees, plants, berries, flowers — the possibilities are endless

We are currently using this stitch on tree skirt panels with a large Christmas tree - just gorgeous!!

You want to do a skip tent in one fiber (metallic works nicely because it shimmers from behind the colonial knots)

Then you want to go back and make your colonial knots in the spaces of the skip tent

Have fun with this stitch - use different fibers - try it in varying applications — let us know what you think!!!!
